This look at the new Canon T3i includes the new Canon 18-55mm IS-II lens with improved image stabilization.

He shows the new swivel out LCD, and says the camera pretty much looks like the Canon 60D, but the buttons are the same as the Canon T2i.

One of the newer features in the Canon T3i is the built-in 3-10x digital zoom.  The camera can use this in HD video mode and still shoot full 1080p video with digital zoom, by using pixels in the center of the sensor, very interesting.  He points out you can use this with a 100mm macro lens for example and use it like a 1000mm lens while shooting video.  You can zoom in and out using buttons on the top of the camera.

His 100mm lens, with 10x digital zoom, on a 1.6x crop body gives you something like 66x zoom while shooting video (compared to a 24mm lens), wow.

I have tried the Canon EOS Rebel T2i. This is an amazing piece. I am yet to test the new EOS Rebel T3i which I presume will cause standing ovations.
