The Canon EOS 550D, commonly referred to as the Rebel T2i, has a plethora of great features. This camera functions well in low-light as well as outside in bright to normal conditions. A quirky, yet convenient feature would be the photographers option to enter copyright information directly on camera. One of the neatest features is the bright, 3.0 LCD screen. It is also very easy to navigate. This is a very intuitive camera, making it very easy to figure out. Unique to the Canon Rebel T2i would be the 24/25/30 frames per second option. The stereo mic input is an upgrade from the Canon EOS 500D.

Features:
5 steps of exposure compensation
24fps, 25fps and 30fps
Recording Capabilities
IFCO metering system
APS-C Lens
DSLR
18 Megapixel sensor
Low-light capabilites

Drawback:
Though there is a 3.7FPS continuous burst, the buffer is only seven frames, which is less than the Canon EOS 500D

Canon is proving that they are slightly ahead of the game in terms of integrating video into DSLR's. You can bet on the 550D to deliver amazing still and motion pictures.
