A hands on review of the Canon PowerShot SX130 with 12x zoom.  It looks fairly compact, and I like the look of the spinning control wheel on the back of the camera.

The camera runs on two AA batteries, and the reviewer found that the battery life was really poor, so definitely get high capacity rechargeable batteries if you're going to buy this camera.

It includes a miniature effect (like tilt shift).  They loved the macro shots, but found the camera pretty noisy at higher ISO.  It records MOV video files in 720p, not as nice as MP4 video though.
