Here, Mat is going to review the Canon 500D, a nice little addition to the Canon family.

3.0 inch LCD screen

With this camera you can keep your images dust free with the dust reduction system. The DRS  utilizes a vibration system to remove dust from the lens. The Canon 500D also has a two level sensor to turn off the LCD screen when you opt to use the view finder. Mat says that overall preformace of this camera is impressive, the Autofocus (AF) works really well in almost any lighting condition and will continue shooting in it's 3.4fps until your memory is full, in JPEG mode. Not to mention the image quality is impeccable, 12800 the results are usable, but the 3200 are very well detailed. All and all this is a great little camera.

Mat says that though the camera seems quite expensive, taking into account that the  price has dropped quite a bit, is very reasonable. In this, the reviewers are rating this camera at 90%, which is pretty good; it scores an “A” by most standards.
