Camera with very high display resolution

The
Casio Exilim EX-ZR15 has one of the higest resolution displays of all cameras (4,608k dots).
High resolution screens let you see more detail on the screen allowing
you to better see what you're taking a picture of and better tell if the
photo is in focus. A high resolution screen is also great when reviewing
photos allowing you to see the fine details without zooming in. When you're
shooting and you want to quickly see if the photo you just took was in
focus and of good quality a high resolution really helps. Screens are often
measured in dots.
Dots are not Pixels
Most camera manufacturers rate their display resolution in dots. It
takes three dots (red, green, and blue) to be equivalent to a full color
pixel. Despite having fewer pixels than the manufacturers would have you
believe, these screens can be extremely sharp. To put it in perspective: a
720p HDTV would have 1280x720 or 921k pixels, and these screens are usually
30+ inches diagonal. A netbook or tablet might have the same 921k pixels
on an eight inch screen. Many new cameras have more than 900k dot
resolution, or about 300k pixels, which is about 640x480 resolution. For a
small 3" display, this is fantastic. They are extremely sharp and high
resolution for their size.
