I think TZ7 is far better. You don't need 12.1 MP camera unless you are printing large poster size prints (most of the people know this). All Panasonic digital cameras produce crisp pictures but TZ7 is a real gem. HD video is almost the same quality (I have seen the results from both cameras on youtube). Easy to carry around in your pocket not very bulky as they look in the pictures. The best prices can found at www.amazon.co.uk , Pixmania (just for TZ7), www.camerabox.co.uk or www.diginix.co.uk
