you've made a mistake about the price I suppose. I've found fz100 at the price of 399 Eur (min)

DMC-FZ100 do not record 1080p @ 30fps.
1080i is the correct spec,

Ehhmm, CMOS producing better images as CCD? NOT!
CMOS is faster and if pixel space is big enough, the quality can be almost the same as a CCD. But with very narrow spacing, the CCD wins time after time and I am afraid it will do as well with the panasonic newly released FZ100 and FZ 45.
