that's strange... the fz100 has a cmos sensor which is what SLR cameras have, it's either you have a defective unit or the optics of the fz35 is way better.

Sorry, it is late. The dmc fz35 seems to be taking better stills than the dmc fz100 does anyone know why?

It looks like the dmz 35 is taking better still pictures than the fz100 does anyone know why? Sensor , lense, or venus engine, software?
