I have also owned a NEX 7, Fuji X-E1, & Olympus E-M5. Now I own the Panasonic GH3 and GX7 love everything about them from custom settings, to feature, ease of use, fast focusing, and video is on both GX7 & GH3 are in a league of their own. I came from Canon 7D/5D MKII, & Nikon D7000/D600. I have never enjoyed cameras so much as I have with the GH3 and GX7. Excellent alternative to DSLR's in every way. Don't get caught up on the CANIKON Fanboys about mirrorless systems being lesser quality in images. Mirrorless cameras are awesome. I personally prefer the Panasonic LUMIX IQ & Interface line. :) I have enjoyed the GH3 and GX7 more than any of the other mirrorless I have owned using the awesome lieca glass and Lumix 12-35mm 2.8 pro lens..

Agreed that the specs don't do the gh3 justice. I'd say the same for the gx1

I would like to say that i have both cameras and used them both quite a bit now and i would like to point out a few things. Yes the score is 90 to 77 with the nex 7 winning but that is with the specs only. When it comes to the actual photos/videos the GH3 is much better. It has a much better dynamic range with video and photos. My only complaint with the gh3 is it gets quite noisy past 1600 iso but i dont shoot low light often so it doesn't bother me. The sony isn't great with low light either but i would say it has the upper hand. With functionality the GH3 takes the cake, it is very customizable and easy to have every option you can think of at your finger tips. It has much more features than the nex 7 and more video formats that work well with editing.
