I need help picking one out. I'm a beginner and I'm interested in both portraits and scenery/landscape photography. I'm also a beginner. What would you recommend?

Why is popularity part of the score. That has nothing to do with the cameras performance. If you remove the popularity score between these 2 cameras the K5 wins at half the price.
