At some point small is too small.  I was looking to purchase a camera for a trip to Mexico and wanted waterproof camera.  I typically carry around a dslr so I was going to let this be my wifes purse.  I was really leaning toward the TX10 but my wife did not like the touch screen or the size.  It was to small for my very small wife.  On dslr cameras more buttons and controls are better.  I think that is a positive over touch screen.  To each his own.  The TX10 wins in a lot of categories but some listed are subjective.

Sony TX10 is the winner in my book! After all the lightness, thinness, and ruggedness of the cameras have been reviewed, it all boils down to the resulting images - Sony delivers with great crisp shots of events you won't have a second time to click if you missed it!
