For me, the winner for the Canon G series are the access to manual dials, adjusting ISO settings, etc from the top of the camera without needing to go into the menu. As well as the flip out screen which I am happy they brought back into the G series.

The winning features for the Pen in my mind, interchangeable lenses! A huge feature for this size range.
