No, the 50D doesn't shoot video. The newer Canon 60d does though.

Hi Eliana, thanks for visiting us, we have tons of info on Samsung's cameras, just go to the main site snapsort.com and type in the two cameras you want to compare.

You were looking at the 50d vs T2i so perhaps you want a Samsung close to those, how about the Samsung HZ25W - see the T2i vs HZ25W compared

Eliana, you should be able to find info on all of Samsungs cameras on the website, for instance the WB600 a popular model with big zoom and hd movies shooting capability. You can see comparisons against top competitors like the samsung st1000 vs sony DSC HX5. Simply type in the camera or comparison you'd like to see and discover more info. You can compare the 50d or T2i against any of Samsungs models and see the differences.
