I recently purchased the sx210 and I am in love with this camera. Great quality picture wise, it has great lighting. It captures nice videos too, however you need great lighting otherwise, the quality does not come off at it's best. I would've known about the sx230, I probably wouldve gone with that instead. Overall, I really do enjoy the sx210
