I bought the p300 for $210, just as the P310 was coming out. Could not be happier. I love Canons - I have 3 of them (SD1000, SX10 and a EOS XSi), but the S100 price so much higher, I decided to take my chances. Maybe the Canon S100 is a superior camera, but there hasn't been any situation where my P300 has let me down. I love it!
