When comparing the (Canon EOS Rebel) T4i to the T5i, the "score" for each camera is actually misleading. Just because the number of cross type focus points and the shutter lag on the T5i are "unknown", they give those two a score of zero each. It's rather stupid, actually. Don't rate something if you don't know what it is. I'm sure the T5i has at least the same number of cross type focus points and similar lag speed as the T4i. Also, the "popularity" score is stupid too. The T4i would have a higher popularity score because it's been out a year before the T5i came out, DUH!

There is no worth wild reason to buy the Canon T5i over the T4i. The only difference is the name and the price went up. But make sure you buy the T4i soon as they are discontinuing it.
