is it really that big of an issue? I'm wondering because I'm deciding on which camera to get.

I currently have a problem with my Canon ELPH 300 HS, where the lens bezel is not strong & sturdy, make it dent, preventing the lens cover from closing all the way. I sent my first one back and recieved another from Amazon. The second one worked perfectly, but as I turned it off one day, I saw once again that the bezel has been dented. I notice in the ELPH 100 HS that it has a protective area, while the ELPH 300 HS does not. I do not recommend the ELPH 300 until they have fixed that one minor set back.
