I bought the Black Nikon AW100 couple of months & I didn't regret it. The reason that made me get it is that I kinda want a normal-looking Camera. The colors and the design of the Canon D20 (especially the "Shark bite" on its side) doesn't make it look good when using it in day-to-day photos.

I so wanted to try the 24p movies of the Canon, but I really enjoy the performance of the AW100 and how light and "pocketable" (if that's even a word) it is :)

Thanks for the honesty, I've been on the fence between these two cameras and I think I'm leaning toward the Canon D20 because I actually like a camera that's a little larger. When underwater or if you have gloves on buttons are easier to press if they are bigger.

This is extremely unfair to the Canon D20... You guys haven't even reviewed it...

For me, after A LOT of research, the comparison between those 2 cameras is a tie.

For a semi professional user... It will be the size and the price are advantages for the Nikon against the 24p movies and the longer battery life for the Canon... Anything else they are almost equal...
