likewise - have it since it came out, love it, and if i had to pick which to get rid of, i'd toss the DSLR first and keep the Sony R1.  it's quite unique in what it does and allows me to do - the only thing it does NOT do is speed.  if it ever dies on me, i'd have to look at a Mamiya or something!

still have this camera, its big, but prosumer for sure, 10.1 true MP quality, for a 6 year old camera, not bad
