I had a DSC H50 for a year and a half before losing it (on my birthday, nonetheless). It was, hands down, my favorite camera. The features that made it really stand out were the flip screen, Carl Zeiss lens, wide ISO range and the infrared. I camp a lot, so being able to take photos in the dark was a huge advantage for me. I was even able to capture a bear rooting below our window after midnight when we stayed at a friend's cabin. It was a solid camera that produced great photos. There are other cameras out there with a better zoom and resolution, but there is not a single camera (seriously, I've looked) that can match it feature-for-feature. It's a shame that Sony has not come out with a camera that bundles all of the great features of the H50 with higher zoom and resolution. I know I would buy it (and be willing to pay a high price for it) if they did.
