This camera does not record 1080p at 60fps. Only 25fps or 30fps depending on the region in which it was bought. It can do 1080i in 50fps or 60fps.

I think it only happens if the camera has been switched off for a while.

i think charging is not issue here.. think this..do you charge your cellphone battery separately on your cellphone? not right?

I bought this camera 8 days ago and i realized the battery is an issue and it heats up quickly during use. Using the camera itself to charge the battery is a silly design. I encounter problem with the lens doesn't go in and the screen has a total black out.

My brother is using this camera. He brought it from middle east. Photo and video quality is excellent. But the main problem is the battery. Battery discharges very quickly than my Cybershot DSC W-530. It doesn't come with charger unit so you have to charge using the camera itself which is I think is not good because battery may get heated when charging inside the camera.

I am using this in black colour. Amaging picture quality even with first time users.
Auto function helps a lot...............

It seems like Sony has different specs of this camera for different regions.

As per Sony's website, this camera has 460k pixels instead of 921k pixels

canon is defenitely a better still-camera manufacturer than sony...

Hi A Pererano, we used the specs from sonystyle.com:

Dimensions (Approx.) : W x H x D: 3 3/4 x 2 1/4" x 25/32" (94.6mm x 56.3mm x 19.8mm)

I wonder which ones are correct?
