It isn't very good for a lot of things, BUT! It is one of the best multirotor cameras going. It works great into very low light levels. It does focus slowly, it does make good film in a fairly small and light package. That said, the Nex series isn't much heavier and focuses a lot faster. I still use this camera however, quite a bit, because a smaller aircraft will carry it. Sony makes an excellent "viewfinder" for this camera, it just isn't attached. It also frees you from the phone app. You can wear it on your wrist and Bluetooth takes over. It has turned out to be way more useful than when I first got it, but the viewfinder made it that way. It totally remotely runs the camera.

I think the QX100 is overpriced but there is potential for some interesting photos given the viewfinder screen can be detached from the lens. As an example, you could mount this on a pole and take photos overlooking an event. It's easier to take a photo of a large group of people from an elevated position than from ground level.
