Did you ever sort out the low light situation? I have the same concern and have looked myself crosseyed trying to figure it out lol

I had been using a Nikon D90 for years (which I loved) but knew it was finally time to upgrade. After obsessing over every camera on the market for months, I finally decided on the Sony A77. Honestly, the low price is was scared me the most, why was it so much cheaper then it's competitors? A few months in, and no regrets. This camera is simply stunning, and has gone above and beyond what I wanted. *Note though, the cheap kit lens that comes with it, is worthless. Save your self the time and money and buy some good old minolta lens for it.

I used this site some weeks ago to explore which camera to buy and it stated that the low light performance was 1,555... but now it is saying it is 801.
The quality of my photos in low light is a big deal for me and now I don't know how accurate this site is, the camera manufacturers don't usually state the low light performance in their specs so I was really pleased to find this site - now I can't trust what it says... why has it changed the score??

I have owned this monster for couple of weeks now. That was to upgrade my canon 60d. And oh boy what an upgrade. I can comfortably assure that I'm oout of canon nikon world and stepped in into the future. In that price range what my new camera is offering isn't even up for questioning. No regrates at all even though I've spend some beautiful time with my canon gear. I feel it's about time to change

Seems to me the startup delay is wrong: 3.1 sec is not what I found, neither what have found other websites. Should be close to 1 sec.

Why is FullHD 1080p@60fps in the "CONS" section??
... I think that's a mistake...

love this cam, AF is soooo fast (with USD Tamron 70-300) and precise! Pic Quality is wonderful! Special Gimmicks like Tiltshift and Panorama are uncompareable, and the Speedshooting just matches my PaintballerNeeds, as well as the weather sealing does. perfect ergonomics, and the WYSIWYG electronic Viewfinder is something i never want to miss again (are u Canon and Nikon Users have to make a shot to control the EV correction or the whitebalance? - A77 have not to! And everybody who looked through my viewfinder had to be told first that its electronic, BEFORE they recognized it, (ok in darker situations its grainy but at least i see something [focal peaking ftw!!!!)

button is perfect, but I use the wheels to navigate more often (faster)

Why doesn't the moderator restrict comments to those actually containing complete sentences and coherent thoughts?

I love this machine except it's menu button. I tried it and didn't like it. In my opinion it is not ergonomically. I think i'll wait it to be changed with a better button.
