Let's be honest here... this is a flawed camera BUT absolutley gorgeous!
So what is it that makes this worth having as reviews discuss noisy images, lack of Rawfile etc etc?.
I am loving mine and as a fine Art and Photography specialist I am enjoying being creative with this beautiful camera.
First; if you look for stuff this camera hasn't got, or can't do, you will agree quickly with the reviewers. If you approach this with an attitude of open mindedness you could be pleasantly surprised.
The scene modes are wonderful... I know as a photographer i like to have full control BUT concentrate on taking pictures and let the scene modes do their stuff and wow... wonderful.
Macro and super macro are amazing as is that incredible lens!
Colours are saturated and you can add filters easily... polarizers, special effects and so on. This is a great bonus!
Images are noisy and get more so on higher ISO settings. Does it matter as this camera makes beautiful images.... with a little help from the photographer? "Go for the grain" and enjoy!

So to sum up. As an only camera I wouldn't be happy. As an extra camera it is a great addition to my kit... which consists of a Nikon D200 and a Canon Powershot G11. I would not part with any of these three.
