Pentax K10D made a revolution when first was promoted by Pentax. It has a wonderful and tough body for the hands (a little bigger grip would be wonderful), image stabilization, weather proof etc. Unfortunately, Pentax didn't support this camera in terms of software capabilities. For example although the raw images were better than its competitors (made by Nikon and Canon) the jpg images were the worse.  Also it had ISO 50 and 3200 in the secret menu but Pentax has never given these options to their customers as well as they could give autofocus adjustment (in order to avoid back or front focus).
I think that Pentax owe support to this model. It deserves it.  A lot of new customers came to Pentax because of K10D model.

i think it uses ccd sensor not cmos
