It has an external mic jack, stereo 3.5mm. Also, movies can be shot at a weird 3:2 aspect ratio which comes very close to 1080p... its 1536 x 1024

Fantastic build quality. Weatherproof. Great selection of old and new Pentax lenses. Wheels, knobs and overall feeling of the camera is – in my opinion – somehow better than the 5D Mark II. As I changed from my Pentax K-7 to a Canon 5D Mark ii I was somehow surprised about the build quality of the 5D. Still good, but I really liked the Pentax feeling a lot more. Especially the control wheels feel so much better.

Weather proofing is a very important parameter for lens and DSLRs bodies. It would be nice to add it to the comparison.

Good point that is weather proofed - we've compared it's weight to other DSLRs without regard for weather proofing: http://snapsort.com/cameras/Pentax/K-7/specs/weight

750 g is "Very heavy"?!!
This is the best weight for whether prof cameras!
