Both the k5 ii and k5IIs have phase detection and they have contrast detection for live view and to assist phase detect in custom area focus the k30 has this to. It does have phase detection that has autofocus range of in the range of -3ev to 18ev which means it can focus it very low light.

I'm a pro photographer too, but I seriously have no clue what you are talking about when you mention something wrong with the lenses... I believe the K-5 series are the best APS-C camera bodies in production, but that is subject to opinion: Do not, however, blame Pentax lenses. I know other photographers who use the newest full-frame DSLRs with Pentax lenses (Adapters are cheap and quite easy to find). You can say all you want about the body (Seriously though... Why do you stick with Pentax if you don't like the features?) but do NOT say anything about the best lens manufacturer in history (right after Leica, of course).

... P.S. Use spell-check. Errors make your points lose validity

I´m pro photographer. I have K5 2 years. Pentax is no pro camera because I have now 3-rd body (always issues with AF accurancy). Focus is incorrect, no predictive focusing, issues with SDM and deficiency od really speed lenses. Not only body, but the lenses made camera for professional use.

Doesn't anyone else believe that the Pentax K-5 and K-7 series are in the field of "Professional DSLR" !?
They beat out the Canikon competitors on every aspect!
