Hi
I wondered if anybody knew how to disable the AF Focus lamp when in iAuto mode. I wanted to be able to use the touch focus but without the red AF lamp illuminating.

I have own and used this camera. I have never had problems of blur photo. All the photos i have taken are sharp and clear. The color reproduction is like the real thing. I think the reviewers that criticize this camera are enlarging the image to large poster size. If this is the case than all camera image will be blur. When i review the image i have taken on my PC monitor.  All image are sharp. However, i still cannot find a way to zoom till 135x as claim in some website. if anyone can do this please let me know.

This Camera is amazing. For the perfect little travel camera. I have taken excellent photos with it. The picture quality is really good in daylight. But don't even bother trying to use it at night. IT really sucks at nighttime photos. It has excellent zoom and an easy to use menu interface. I bought it over the sony dmc hx9v because I'm not paying extra money just to buy a 3d sweep panorama feature.

Honestly, I have found TZ10 to be a better deal and by far the best SLR camera in the market, period.

Is it possible to convert 30fps to 24fps without loosing much quality?

I'm a novice and looking to purchase this camera - is the image quality issues I'm reading about relevant only to those used to dslr's, or poor image quality full stop? I've narrowed my search to the TZ10, TZ20 or the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX7 / HX9. Any help greatly appreciated!

 how bad IS the picture quality? many online reviewers pick two major flaws - blurry images and inability to see what one is shooting when it is sunny. should i buy or not?

Please ... I want to know that the TZ20 shows up what I'm taking in broad sunlight than the Lumix I've had for the past 2 years ...and loved, apart from NOT being able to see what I'm shooting in daylight!

Hi Engima, cameras usually offer a max "normal" ISO, but you can increase the ISO past that limit using a special feature. The reason for this is that the image quality usually suffers dramatically, so the camera company is saying sure you can use ISO 6400 if you want, but you should be aware your image quality will be much worse, so we're going to make it one step harder to turn on.

Hi, This sounds a camera great camera from a spec point of view. Some reports I've read now that it's been released is that the image quality is not as good as the previous TZ10, which was not as good as the TZ7 - have you guys run any photos? and can you offer an opinion please?

Hi Bear, on our specs page we've listed all the resolutions and FPS we are aware of. Some cameras do have many different resolutions they record high FPS at, usually the higher the resolution the FPS. As far as we know 320x240 is the only resolution that the TZ20 records at high FPS.

As example, the Nikon P100 records at 320x240 @ 240fps, and 640x480 @ 120fps.

You can also use the explore feature at Snapsort to browse all cameras that shoot video at 60fps or higher.

Ok, so I found that it can record 220 fps video at QVGA (320×240) resolution, which isn't all that relevant really. Who watches stuff in that low resolution any more?
But I would like to know if it can record "slow motion" (high fps) video at higher resolutions also, and what the fps on those resolutions would be in that case.
Anyone know?

I can find no articles describing this anywhere...
How much slower would this be compared to normal recording? 5x?
