What people are saying about the GH2 then refers directly to GF1 and GF2 - very careless. Sets the scene for bias and inaccuracies. Personally, the GH2 is the best digital camera I've used so far. It took me a while to get used to the meus & buttons but now everything is at my fingertips & I don't need to remove the camera from my eye. Also, I have big hands and find the size perfect for me. My G3 is smaller and I am always pressing buttons accidentally.

The pictures are very good. Lenses are excellent. I no longer use my Nikons. This is a great camera, that is still competitive with the current crop of releases.

I have owned a number of high end digital cameras but this is the best by far. Fast intuitive operation with consistent high quality RAW images and an unbeatable series of lenses. Regardless of specs, I would take it over the best of Canon and Nikon. It is like an extension of my eye. Also does professional level video. A classic and they will have to come up with something amazing before I'd consider replacing it even if it is "old". It has a dense layer of menus and the horrible manual means it takes a while to learn the operation of this great machine. Amazing that Panasonic would make such a great camera and then not even take the trouble to writ a decent English language manual. Their marketing department is as bad as their camera is good.I also own an LX3 and that too is a fine camera.

The front image right above here is actually a GH1 with a badly photoshopped 2 over the 1.  Compare the grip to the 3/4 view of the silver GH2.  The front view has no "leather" (textured rubber) and has a front control wheel, which is moved to the back on the GH2.
