I agree with you. The manual sucks.

Ther camera may be respectable BUT the owners manual is not. I find the manual next to useless and have yet to find an alternative to the manual. The manual may tell you how to make changes but not why. When I bought a Pentax camera in the past I had the same complaint about it's manual but found a booklet in the Magic Lantern series that explained the workings of my camera far better then Pentax had done. Panasonic needs to improve their manual or direct us to a Magic type alternative. I doubt I'll ever be able to use this camera to it's fullest capacities. Panasonic gives no support to the manual.
