@M:disqus re: mr Wiebe, you're so right regarding the Panasonic DMC FZ100. What a disappointment this unit is. I too have made this mistake. The sensor is useless. What camera to buy.

How about putting in a larger sensor? like the one in the FZ30. The tiny sensor in the FZ100 is almost useless. For me it was good money thrown away. I'm sure that I steered a few customers away from the FZ100.

No camera is perfect... We should try to find the best compromise of the moment and I think that it is represented by Panasonic FZ150.
It offers the greatest number of features at a high quality for its class.

As I've known , the fz-100 provides full manual control in movies
so does fz-150.

1080p at 60fps is amazing!
But at what cost?
What manual controls do you have while shooting movies?

Im happy wit the new FZ100, better in low light, good enough resolution...
It's sad how many otherwise promising cameras don't have a GPS despite it being 2011 and almost every mobile phone have had it for 4 years by now... Don't camera designers travel?
Hi Aruna, as you can see from our comparison FZ100 vs FZ150 specs that they are pretty similar. Panasonic is promising though that the FZ150 with its slightly lower resolution 12MP sensor will offer better image quality.
Too often these days companies just cram more megapixels in there, so I am impressed Panasonic is resisting that and hope that the FZ150 delivers!
