This camera does not have image stabilization...no consumer unit did in 2004. Its video ability is basic but usable. The features it does have like panorama, burst-mode, ability to use optional remote, and an automatic lens cover which most modern $100.00 lack, as well as the ability to go completely manual, even manual focus. More important than anything is that it still takes very good photos. It still does a lot of things right.
