720 instead of 1080 is a bummer.  
No way to pause video (as is possible on Captivate cellphone which takes better video!).Zoom not adjustable while doing the video; you preset the zoom amount then shoot; to change zoom you have to stop recording.
No optical viewfinder; a super bummer since you CAN NOT see the screen in bright sunlight.
Photos seem a bit washed out in bright sunlight.

Bottom line:  I am returning this camera.
