The external flash SB-n5 is nice flash to start , but it may lack power, hope they release an adapted or wireless flash transmitter soon
Thanks, we will add the few movie formats that we missed

The only good is the 1080p at 60fps. I would be sooo excited to see that framerate in the 5D Mk III. Anyway the V1 has a pretty nice case.

According to http://www.dpreview.com/products/nikon/slrs/nikon_v1 these movie formats are supported: 1920x1080 - 60fps 1920x1080 - 30fps 1280x720 - 60fps 1027x720 - 60fps 640x240 - 400fps 320x120 -1200fps
Ah, thanks for pointing that out mrak and Ken, you're right, the Nikon V1 does have a hotshoe for an external flash, while the J1 doesn't. Here is a page from Nikon showing the possible accessories. I'll get our specs updated, and also mention that it has an external mic jack.
I could not understand why Nikon people have released this prototype with prices not affordable to normal people and features not adequate for amateurs , forget about professionals. When mirrorless cameras are available with Sony, Panasonic and Olympus with loads of features who is that in this universe would compare this gizmo with them to buy? We cannot expect such things from Nikon atleast.

It looks like there's a little sliding cover over the flash shoe to the left (from behind) of the viewfinder housing.
Yes, the Nikon V1 uses an electronic shutter to achieve crazy fast 1/16,000s shutter speed. It also captures 60fps stills at full resolution, its a machine gun :) According to Nikon:
Single-point AF: 135 focus areas Auto-area AF: 41 focus areas Subject tracking Face-priority AF
