I am taking a trip to Africa and thinking of purchasing this camera for my safari.  Does anyone have any other suggestions.  I have D80 and do not want to carry a heavy camera like that around.

hi, does anybody know how to make the miniature effect work? i know how to apply it but then the "miniature" picture looks just like the original picture..thanks!

Hi ttomo, it looks like that is a mistake on our part, from what I can tell it doesn't look like the Nikon S8200 shoots RAW, we'll update our specs.

i haven't seen confirmation that this shoots RAW images - can someone verify that the nikon s8200 does or does not shoot RAW
