videos are so crisp ... clear and it's more like HD.

I have bought this camera now knowing what i was getting. I own a SX100IS and a SX230HS and the low light, high ISO photos are not in par with the cameras i have. Still, after seeing so many people saying its good on day light i will give it another chance and test it in those conditions...

I bought this camera a month ago. I have shot about five hundred shots with good results. I find the macro to be good and the telephoto to work well in good light. For a cheap all around camera, there is probably not any better. The fact that it can do so many things well and be small and cheap is a definite plus.

I bought this camera to use as a cheap zoom but I was surprised at the quality of the images this camera captures.  For me the absence of a view finder and the low resolution of the LCD screen is not big deal.  I have a high res on my Nikon D90 and I still can not determine if the photo is really good until I get it on the computer.  So far, 99.9 percent of the photos I have taken with this camera (over 1000) have been great.
