My father was a professional photographer. I have always had a great appreciation for photography and perhaps a gift from my father in composition.

The X100 even if flawed in the running against the heavyweight DSLR specs - is by far the best camera I've ever shot with and do not care to own another.

Only 15 ounces and produces images that rival others from my prosumer friends.

FujiFilm has done a wonderful job with the X-series line. I hope to afford newer models when presented. Bravo!

Looks like it has a hybrid (optical and electronic)
viewfinder. We will fix that up soon, thanks.

This is entirely each and every persons personal taste and opinion which should not be scrutinized.

Couldn't be happier with this camera! A camera producing substantial image quality in a far more portable (than DLSR) package!

For the first time since I've been using digital cameras, I got hold of a camera from whose images I don't get disappointed when seeing them on a computer monitor. They could have made a few things differently, but I think X100 is just amazing. It's beautiful and it takes extraordinary photos, and it never disappoints you even in low light settings.

Yes @731cdb4a69852fceeca2481a0692d0c5:disqus , Strangely is a success! At Amazon (.com and .co.uk) are sold out and are now accepting pre-orders.
It's good to know that i'm not the only one looking for professional compact, DSLR comparable, camera (bonus for retro-looking)
