Your right, thanks for correcting us the FH100 has some pretty awesome high speed photography and video options and as a compact superzoom it creates a lot of flexibility for capturing sporting events. I believe the 40fps is at 9MP not the full 10.1 and the buffer fills up pretty fast at that rate, likely less than a second - 30 frames is quoted. The high speed video capture modes are great: 120 fps at 640 x 80, 240 fps at 448 x 336, 420fp at 224 x 168 and a whopping 1000 fps at 224 x 64. One of these Casios would likely be great to take a high speed video of your golf swing and analyze your mistakes, in fact for most sports this would be a great training tool. We'll get this corrected.
It's also really nice that you can switch to high speed while shooting at the standard 30fps video mode.
