Canon PowerShot SD960 IS Photo #29 USACE parents, scouts participate in Eagle Scout Project at Eppstein Castle

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District employees found themselves involved in a different sort of project February 27 with their sons and other local Boy Scouts from Troop 107 in Wiesbaden, Germany. Col. John Kem, district commander, Neil Ravensbergen, Wiesbaden Resident Office resident engineer, Maj. John Drew, Hessen Area Office deputy area engineer, Wayne Uhl, the district's international engineering chief, and Ben Peschke, a project manager at the Wiesbaden Resident Office, work with the boys on an Eagle Scout Project at Castle Eppstein where they removed overgrown brush and replanted a vineyard to restore historical use to this area of the castle.
