I LOST MY BEAUTIFUL SD1000. Excellent camera - only real drawback lack of optical zoom on video (horrible pixelation)
Am considering a 300hs to replace it, but scared I will be disappointed because as Josie says, the picture quality of the sd1000 is amazing.

I bought the 310hs to replace my Canon sd 1000, but the sd1000's pictures look brighter and sharper. Is there a setting I can use on the 310hs to get the picture quality beter before I return it?
