Its only 12000 bucks now. Most people dont even realize what cinema means when I talk about this camera. This is an incredible 4K video capturing animal disguised in a DSLR body. There are sooooo many possibilities as far as lenses go!

Actually this DSLR is not for fun playing. It is actually used for movie shooting & Highly professional photography & Videography...& in case of videography this DSLR is unbeatable!

The 1D-C has 4k shooting mode while the best Nikon can do is 1080p and Canon makes specialized cine lenses. Also 14fps is amazing.

How many NIKON's have been used to make a movie? hmmm 0 this camera is for video production mainly , although you could use it for studio's too for great shots , this is a more than average DSLR , Nikon on the other hand has all the bell's without all the whistles , most Canon camera's have both and you can do a lot more with Canon , than you could with a Nikon , Nikons only selling point is the high MP , i hate to disappoint but MP wont make a picture any better , but most people and some photographer's think it will ,so they buy into Nikon , dont get me wrong they have some good camera's but when you look at over all features , Canon will win every time and that is why Canon is a much better product over Nikon , and you shot HDR's that is a waste of time , try shooting without the use of photo shop or photomatrix , that is what makes a photographer , real photographer's dont need photo shop , they have a camera and know how to use it , there is no art in the use of software that everyone has .

check the video format. also, it doesn't say, but it shoots 1080p at up to 120fps... fun to play with.

err... it shoots RAW. I played around with it at Canon's offices. Also, there is no dedicated HDR mode, but you can bracket up to 21 frames at different exposures.
It also allows for focus bracketing in 1cm intervals (excellent for macros)

16 grand???!! Can someone please tell me what makes this camera so special? Compared to say... it's eternal rival, NIKON??
